It's best for you to turn off the light first, and start with the head tighten, otherwise it may confuse about getting into moon mode in stead. By the way, when you try to enable the flashlight, did you follow the following steps? 1) Tighten the head 2) Turn on the flashlight, 3) Then quickly, loose the head, tighten the head, loose the head, tighten the head and loose the head and tighten the head again. We need to burn it in a little bit more and see if it will behave differently. I just tested a new sample and it worked fine.

Let me paste the short and disappointing message here in full to save myself the I hope more people will check their mem-mode & report here when they read this though, I'm really curious if this is a structural failure or just incidental.Īlright, Eagletac got back to me quick, I'll give 'm that. But if all D25C clickies have a mem-mode that only works once I may have to see about a refund & shop for a whole different light altogether, who knows what will fail next if that's the case If all my dealer's D25C's are funky I don't want my replacement to come from him anyway. Yeah, it is possible my dealer doesn't know any better concerning the etching, which leads me to conclude his whole batch of D25C Ti Clickies is like this.Īnyways, I'll send Eagletac an email and include the photo's, lets see what they make of this. It isn't suppose to remember the flashing modes when activated though, just the last used brightness level.ĭo you remember if yours worked before? It was activated & working fine when I received mine, until I turned it off. Switching between moonglow & low is the same procedure, except you turn it on with the head loosened instead. Memory mode is switched on by turning the light on with the head tightened & then loosen & tighten it again 3 times in a row. My second thing is this, & let me just copy my post from the EDC flashlight thread for this one:

I would still like to know about the reliability of your memory mode though, so I was hoping at least some of you with a similar light would try this out & report back here. On top of that the flashlight is showing other weird behavior when trying to change modes since a day or two too, yesterday it kept coming back on in one of the flas-modes in the group with the head loosened after changing the modes again, and moonlight mode also won't come on every time, so it seems pretty clear to me that mine has problems.

I'm now waiting for him to hear back from Eagletac about how to turn on the memory mode again, but it's been over a week now and I'm starting to get the feeling he's stringing me along. I contact the seller about it & he claims he tried it himself & that it's pretty easy to turn the memory mode off, but that it took him about ten tries to turn it back on again. It worked perfectly fine when I got the flashlight but when I tried to turn it back on again the next day nothing happened. My first problem is that my memory mode won't come back on again. I asked about this in different flashlight threads already but didn't get much feedback there so I decided to make a dedicated thread about it hoping to reach more of you.

I'm talking about the version that runs on a single CR123A battery here, not the two-CR version. I've been having some problems with my titanium Eagletac D25C Clicky & I need a little feedback from other D25C Clicky owners in general as well as about the titanium version in particular.
